Dr. Amy Chi was born and raised in the Twin Cities and graduated from Blaine High School. Dr. Chi's parents, Merl and Vickie Adams, still reside in Blaine. She graduated from the College of Biological Sciences, University of Minnesota, with a B.S. degree in Biology. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Minnesota. She also completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center, and had the privilege of serving Minnesota's veterans of foreign wars. Dr Chi is a member of the American Dental Association and Minnesota Dental Association.

Dr. Chi is married with two young children. She enjoys spending her free time with her family; running, gardening, and visiting her parent's lake home on Ottertail Lake.
